Hello

1st question:

I’m working on the design for my 24 Fader MidiBox LC.

I’d like to have 16 Faders on my left and 8 Faders on the right side (… of the Jog- and Button-Field).

Is it correct, that the device I assign as the “Master-Device” in my host application (Sequoia7.22), is going to show/control Tracks 17-24?

If so, can I change that or is it important, that I connect the Buttons and Jog to the MBox with the 8 Faders on my right side?

2nd question:

Instead of 2x40 LCDs, I want a 2x8 display above each fader. What would be the easiest/best working way? Multiplexing the existing display outs of the tree MBoxes or an additional PIC? How could I implement an additional PIC, so it’s receiving the correct data from the modules assigned in the host software as “Mackie Control”?

Normally it doesn’t matter to which core you connect the jog and the buttons. They will work on the Core to which you connect them.

Normally the host applikation chains such buttons in “parallel”.
